Jackson County Harvest Fair, Sept. 23-25

The 21st Annual Jackson County Harvest and Microbrew Festival at the Expo, this fun-filled festival is Friday 5-10pm, Saturday 10am-10pm, and Sunday 10:00am-6:00pm.

Friday night is a concert with local musician David Pinsky followed by Jason Johnson and Michael Boren.  The $4 admission includes a free return ticket for Saturday or Sunday.

Saturday and Sunday will host events such as:
·      draft horse pulls
·      grape-stomping preliminaries, hosted by Del Rio Vineyards, and the Grape-Stomping Championship Final held at 4:30pm Sunday
·      crafts, photo, and home economics booths
·      stock dog trials
·      live entertainment
·      lawn mower racing
·      pumpkin launching
·      pie-eating contests
·      yummy food stands
·      livestock displays
·      microbrew festival with an amateur wine, beer, and soda pop competition.

The Harvest Festival is also home to the Chili Cook-off and the Backyard BBQ Cook-off with public tastings of the delicious creations.
