Please join us on Thursday, January 30th from 6:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. at the Elkton Community Education Center in Elkton for The Animal Nutrition and Health Connection Workshop.
Discussion topics include:
- Basic concepts of animal nutrition and health and how they are connected.
- Importance and timing of vaccinations to prepare livestock for production changes such as weaning, shipping, growing, reproduction, and more.
- Management plans for livestock health and performance.
Focus will be on cattle, sheep, and goats.
Workshop speakers are OSU Extension Veterinarian Dr. Chuck Estill and OSU Regional Livestock and Forages Specialist Dr. Shelby Filley.

Cost for the workshop is $10 per person paid at the door (cash or check payable to OSUES).
