OFS’s Paulette Pyle honored with Oregon Farm Bureau President’s Award

Paulette Pyle, Director of Grassroots for Oregonians for Food & Shelter, received the 2014 Oregon Farm Bureau President’s Award from Oregon Farm Bureau President Barry Bushue during the 82nd OFB Annual Meeting in Gleneden Beach, Dec. 10-11, 2014.

The OFB President’s Award honoree is selected by the sitting OFB president and is given to an individual who has displayed an outstanding level of vision, service, and leadership for the betterment of Oregon family agriculture.

“The Oregon agriculture and natural resource communities have benefitted immeasurably from Paulette’s effective advocacy,” said Bushue. “Paulette possesses a passion and a work ethic that are unsurpassed — and she has the audacity to tackle the tough issues in the legislature, working tirelessly on behalf of Oregon’s farmers, ranchers, and foresters. “

“Few people will ever have the impact on Oregon agriculture and natural resources that Paulette Pyle has had in her career, which has spanned more than three decades,” said Bushue. “For those reasons and more, I am honored to give her the 2014 Oregon Farm Bureau President’s Award.”
