EPFFA l8ivestock judging at the Jackson County Fair

On Saturday, July 14th, the Jackson County Livestock Judging Contest was held in the
Olsrud Arena at the Fairgrounds. The Eagle Point FFA Advanced Livestock Judging Team took
first place in their division. The Beginning Team earned second in their division. Great job to the
Advanced Team consisting of Tyler Gifford, Sydney Baldwin, Braydon Dunbar, Paige
Pesterfield, and Arielle McMahan. Tyler took second overall in the Advanced Division, and
Sydney took fifth. Congratulations to the Advanced Team! The Beginning Team, consisting of
Peyton Daniels, Abigail Rademacher, Samuel Rademacher, and Kacey Matthews. Peyton took
second in the beginning contest, and Kacey took third. Congratulations to the Beginning Team!
Great job to all our competitors. I’d like to thank the Officials who made decisions on how the
classes should be placed, the handlers who walked the animals around the ring so those
competing could get the best views of the animals, and all the advisors for making this contest
possible. I’d also like to say congratulations to everyone who brought animals to show at the
Fair! Congratulations and great job to all of our hog, cattle, turkey, and goat exhibitors!
